"Forget What You Know" may be more than just a tagline for the new Call of Duty, as sources say this year's Black Ops 4 may not ship with a single player campaign.
According to sources close to Polygon, the game will focus on the multiplayer and Zombies suites instead. If true, this will make Black Ops 4 the first Call of Duty game without a campaign.
On condition of anonymity, sources told Polygon the decision was made as the development team realized the campaign would not be completed by the planned release date, and Treyarch decided to focus on expanding the multiplayer and the fan-favorite Zombies mode instead.
