Update: Square Enix has released its first patch for Chrono Trigger on PC.
As outlined in a post on Steam, the update allows users to select an "Original" graphics option from the menu, which alters the character sprites and background visuals to look more like the original SNES release. Some other visual adjustments, including an update to the font for "a more classic look," is also included in the patch.
Square Enix is also working to update the UI so it's optimized for play using a keyboard or controller. These changes will be released via future patches.
