A number of Grand Theft Auto IV's song licenses will expire later this month and the music will be removed from the game, but Rockstar plans to replace them with new songs.
As reported by Kotaku UK, the music licenses for some songs will expire on April 26, at which point a number of songs from the game will be removed. Rockstar reportedly had a 10-year agreement for some songs, which will soon expire, given GTA IV launched for PS3 and Xbox 360 in April 2018.
Rockstar provided the following statement USgamer, confirming many songs from the Vladivostok FM station will be replaced with new songs:
