Bungie has officially announced a release date for Destiny 2: Forsaken’s first DLC: Black Armory.
Season of the Outlaw draws to a close on November 27, with Season of the Forge starting the same day. Black Armory releases a week later, on December 4 for owners of Destiny 2: Forsaken’s Annual Pass.
Pinnacle weapons will soon be available to earn in Gambit and Vanguard strikes, and the Crucible is getting another beast called The Mountaintop.
Bungie had previously released a roadmap that detailed what we could expect in the coming months in Destiny 2.

Heavy machine guns are back, with Thunderlord being the first to unlock. New standard weapons, Crucible content and Iron Banner challenges will be coming, and a new event called The Dawning will also begin shortly with the Black Armory update.
There’s also access to the Black Armory itself, the new activities such as Forges of the Chain activity and The Last Forges raid lair.
Bungie confirmed in the weekly update that everything will be revealed on Tuesday, November 27 in a new video. Bungie is also working on a more detailed gameplay calendar for everything else coming in 2018.
“What we have planned are not the post-launch expansions you may have played in years past,” teased the developer.
Prior to the official release date announcement, a promo image with the same date leaked on Reddit. Sadly, it didn’t include anything Bungie didn’t mention in the official release.
