If you’ve ever ventured into a dark place in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll know how annoying it can be to lug the lantern around. Luckily, there’s an item that can solve that issue for you.
You can actually find the items in the bounty hunting mission for Joshua Brown, though you’re also free to go to this location outside of that quest. Here’s where you need to head:
As you can see, it’s Northwest of Strawberry, in Big Valley. The location is actually a mine.
Head inside and you will eventually get to a plunger connected to some dynamite. Blow it and it’ll open up a gap in a wall where you can find the bone knife and the mining helmet. Now you can look trendy whilst running about in the dark! Happy spelunking!
