Fortnite Week 6 challenges have kicked off, giving players another chance to earn extra XP and Battle Stars.
Once again there are seven challenges to complete, and completing at least four of these will hand the player a bonus 4,000 XP.
These challenges come in the same week that Fortnite brings back the Sniper Shootout mode and adds a Easter Egg launcher, as well as the guided missile.
Remember you have to own the Season 3 Battle Pass to take advantage of these challenges, which will help push you up the tiers.
Fortnite Week 6 Challenges
- Deal damage with SMGs to opponents – 5 Stars

This is pretty routine. Kill your foes with a SMG. No problemo.
- Search chests in Anarchy Acres – 5 Stars

Anarchy Acres is a big enough place to hide 7 chests. Don’t forget to search the barns.
- Place a Cozy Campfire – 5 Stars

Once you’ve found a Cozy Campfire in a chest just set it alight and bingo, challenge done.
- Summit different mountains peaks – 5 Stars

You need to climb 10 different mountain peaks. You should be pretty familiar with these, but we’ll have a cool map very shortly.
- Search between a Metal Bridge, Three Billboards and a Crashed Bus (Hard) – 10 Stars

This week’s treasure hunt for a giant Battle Star is easy enough – map to follow.
- Explosive Weapon Eliminations (Hard) – 10 Stars

Kill 3 opponents with any explosive weapons; grenade, rocket launcher, guided missile or remote explosive.
- Eliminate opponents in Retail Row (Hard) – 10 Stars

Retail Row is this week’s killzone. Arm up, grit your teeth and wipe out 3 opponents.
All previous weekly challenges remain live, so you can still catch up and finish off any stragglers there.
- Week 2 Challenges: all forbidden dance locations
- Week 3 Challenges: Snobby Shores treasure map, bullseye locations
- Week 4 Challenges: Ice Cream Truck locations
- Week 5 Challenges: Anarchy Acres treasure map, Gas Station locations
All of these challenges are live across all formats, and that includes the recently released mobile version of Fortnite.
This week developer Epic Games also released the new Battle Royale Starter Pack, offering players cheap V-Bucks and a pretty cool outfit. And if you’re a Twitch Prime subscriber, you can get the Instigator Pickaxe from today.
