SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will bring Arcade classics to Switch

The SNK 40th Anniversary Collection aims to be a definitive arcade package for your Nintendo Switch.

Even if we didn’t have its Capcom fighting game spin-off, the “SNK” name is one that has a prominent place in gaming history. Founded in 1978, this Japanese company developed the Neo Geo family of arcade and console games that were renowned worldwide.

How does one celebrate that accomplishment? With a 40th Anniversary re-release of its earliest games, of course!

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is a repackaging of its original classics, including arcade and home console variants. The finished set will include at least 13 games, although its website suggests more will be announced.
