There’s a headline you don’t expect to write everyday. Or ever for that matter.
A rumor on the internet, which apparently started over on German website Playnation, claimed a fella had to wait in line so long to play Fortnite at gamescom 2018 he when poo-poo in a bag.
Supposedly, in Hall 8 a stench most foul spread through the area. It was so vile, it caused a young one to vomit. “Witnesses” stated the culpirt went number two in a paper bag and left it on the floor in the hall.
The hall was so crowded, folks apparently stepped on it. Much like an old man in his slippers would if a bag of feces left on his porch was on fire.
Because the surprise package was compromised, the contents were smeared on the area’s floor, and spread throughout by foot traffic.
Well, apparently this never happened. Epic Games’ Nick Chester had to hop on Twitter to assure folks the aforementioned deed did not occur.

At present, it’s unknown where the devil smell originated. Or if there was one to begin with. If there was indeed an invisible fog of death permeating the hall, it can likely be blamed on the number of attendees who gorged on beer and sausages the night before. It’s a bad bowel combination.
