The latest PUBG Xbox One update finally lets you play the full version of the Sanhok map.
It’s been a long road, but Sanhok has finally arrived on the Xbox One version of PUBG. The map was included on the 1.0 update, along with the Event Pass, performance updates, and general bug fixes. It also marks PUBG’s graduation from Xbox Game Preview, which is Microsoft’s early access service.
That said, this still isn’t quite the launch fans hoped for. As reported by Eurogamer, many fans are disappointed that War Mode and Custom Matches haven’t been included. The original 1.0 announcement certainly implied this was the case.
Instead, the game’s developer will stagger Sanhok, War Mode, and Custom Matches. According to the patch notes, this will allow “each contents have enough attention from [their] players, so players won’t be divided having a long matchmaking time for each content.”
Welcome to Sanhok, @Xbox.
The PUBG 1.0 Update is now live on Xbox One. Our third map, Sanhok, achievements, Event Pass, performance updates, and much more are being implemented into the game with this patch.
