The dates and times for Anthem’s pre-load have been confirmed.
The Anthem full game pre-load has been available for a about a week now on Xbox One, as Microsoft’s console tends to get pre-loads earlier than other platforms.
Download size is just below 37GB on Xbox One, which is bigger than the game’s demos. EA Access members, as well as those who pre-ordered the game digitally through the Microsoft Store, are all able to pre-load Anthem.
On PC, the pre-load kicks off later today at the times below.
Anthem PC pre-load schedule
- 10am PT
- 1pm ET
- 6pm UK
- 7pm CET
This is when Origin Access, both Basic, and Premier, will be able to download the game. The above times are also true for players who pre-ordered digitally through Origin.
On PS4, as is often the case, the information is less clear. Neither EA nor BioWare have announced pre-load dates for Sony’s console. Some believe it’s going up later today alongside PC, but there’s no evidence to confirm that.
You can certainly check PSN at the Origin pre-load times above, but considering the fact Anthem won’t be available on PS4 before its official February 22 release date, don’t count on the pre-load to going live this week.
Pre-loads on PSN tend to be made available only a few short days before launch, so you’re probably looking at a Tuesday or Wednesday next week for that.
We’ll update this story once we have confirmed details about the PS4 pre-load.
