Nintendo announced Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield for Switch during the Pokemon Direct.
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield is in development and will bring Generation 8 to Switch consoles.
Three Pokemon were announced: Grass-type Grookey, Fire-type Scorbunny, and Water-type Sobble.
The new entries will take place in Galar, a fictional area of England.
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield releases in late 2019.
