Attention, Agents: The Division 2 pre-load is now available.
With little fanfare, Ubisoft has made The Division 2 pre-load client available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Those who pre-ordered the game on consoles and PC have reported being able to pre-load the game since early this morning.
Like most pre-loads, the file size will vary depending on your system and PS4 is the largest of the lot.
The PS Store states the file size is 44.97 GB, but according to The Division Zone, the doubled size of the client comes down to the “installation procedure the console has to run through.”
Below you will find the approximate size for your system, give or take a few megabytes.
The Division 2 pre-load size:
- PC: Uplay 41.76 GB, Epic Games Store 49GB
- PS4: 89.83 GB
- Xbox One: 42.3 GB
Should the pre-load option show as unavailable, restart your Uplay or Epic Games client and try again. It’s worth noting your timezone and region could come into play, so if the client is still unavailable after restarting, just wait a bit.
As with most release days, you should probably expect a day-one patch to drop alongside the game. Just be prepared to download more files. Once the contents and file size is known, we’ll let you know.
The Division 2 is out next week. If you pre-ordered the Dark Zone, Dark Zone Definitive, Gold, Phoenix Shield, or Ultimate Edition, you can start playing the game on March 12.
Everyone else will have to wait until March 15.
