Marvel's Spider-Man will be released for PS4 on September 7.
Insomniac announced the release date alongside the box art, details of DLC, and what's in the game's Digital Deluxe and Collectors Editions.
The game's post-launch DLC will come in the form of a three-part campaign called Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps. The only details we have right now are that each chapter will come "with new missions, new villains and characters, and additional suits for Spider-Man."
Announced at E3 2016, the PS4 exclusive has been a tantalising mystery for some time. We've heard bits and pieces - that it will be an open world game with narrative missions, that this is an experienced Peter Parker who begins the game with all his powers, and that Mary Jane will be a playable character.
