Update: Fortnite is back online and the High Stakes challenges are live – get cracking!
Original Story:
New stuff is headed to Fortnite once again! And while that means we’ve got something to look forward to, it also means that Fortnite is currently down for maintenance! This downtime is only scheduled for a couple of hours, so there’s not long left to wait until the servers are back online.
When are the Fortnite Servers back up?
The easiest way to keep up-to-the-minute with the downtime is to check Epic Games’ official status page for updates.
Epic mentioned on Twitter that the servers will be down at 4AM ET and back at 6AM ET.
Suit up and get ready for High Stakes with patch v5.40! Downtime starts tomorrow, September 6 at 4 AM ET (0800 GMT).

For reference, that time is 9AM to 11AM in the UK and 10AM to 12PM in Europe.
